I was pleased to see an authentic looking pizza place opening up close by and decided to try out the menu one evening. I placed a telephone order for garlic bread with mozarella, Gardiniera pizza (veggie) and a waffles with "selection of toppings included". I didn't have cash but the new menu stated "credit cards welcome" however, I was told that the card machine hadn't been working. When I said I'd need to cancel my order and call back another day, they suggested that they take my details and call me back in 5-10 mins to confirm whether or not the transaction had been successful. I didn't get a call and assumed I was out of luck so I was more than surprised when my order turned up on my doorstep 1 1/4 HOURS later! All of my food was barely warm. The 'garlic' bread was a small pizza which had only a hint of garlic & cheese and was very greasy. The 9" pizza was not good value for money at £9.99 and again was bland and had meager toppings. The waffle was the biggest disappointment - it had been handed to me in a brown paper bag that was literally dripping with grease and there were no toppings included. The waffle was not fully cooked and contained more fat than anything else, suggesting that it had been deep fried. I tried one bite and it made me feel sick. I do not recommend Pizza and Pizelle to anyone - it serves unreliable, poor qaulity food which is not good value for money. I've never been so disgusted with a take away before!

Popped in and had my pizza rolled and topped with fresh veggies and bits whilst i waited with my free cup of tea !! goats cheese and spinach with a wonderful cherry balsamic glaze, and a rocket salad did it for me, and my partner dared to have the chocolate and chilli one. At last a pizza you can taste !! and very nice too. A shame the previous review had a bad experience wih their waffle, but i can assure you mine was not deep fried nor fatty. it was full of chocolate m&m's and authentically cooked in a cast iron torture contraption in the window, with a splodge of clotted cream and maple syrup....most yummy ! Value for money...definitely. fresh 9 "pizza with any topping for £6 anytime ? ... and I think its free delivery, ..maybe a minimum order but i do not know. I collect mine anyway. Try it for yourself . added bonus is the fat one there is handsome !!
